Pricing.

How is the price determined?
The metals industry is constantly changing. Reliable and clear product information is essential, and the same applies to pricing information.
Two basic factors ultimately determine the selling price of a semi-finished product: the processing cost and the raw material price. The first factor is freely negotiable; the second is not. Raw material prices are determined on the LME (London Metal Exchange), based on the prevailing US dollar exchange rate. For some products, particularly copper and brass semi-finished products, this raw material price can account for as much as 70 to 80% of the selling price.
How does Roelofs® respond?
We monitor price developments daily and actively respond to significant price fluctuations. Customers who have requested this receive daily emails with current metal and currency quotations. This is another way to experience the added value we offer.
